Local Government Employers
Local Government Employers is the national centre of excellence for local authorities on pay, pensions and employment strategy. LGRE works with local authorities, regional employers and other bodies to lead and create solutions on pay, pensions and the employment contract to ensure the provisions of excellent and affordable local services.
The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA)
The Improvement and development Agency works in partnership with all councils to enhance their performance and develop the local government sectors as a whole.
UNISON
Unison is the largest trade union in the UK, representing 1.3 million people working in a range of organizations including local government, the health service, education, the utilities and private companies. National Extension College
The National extension college provides flexible learning materials which can be used by colleges, independent trainers and employers in care homes, large care groups, hospitals and local authorities to support care training.
Ofsted
Ofsted – the office for standards in education is the inspectorate for children and learnedness’ in England. From April 2007 Ofsted’s remit has expanded to include the children’s services work of court Advisory and support services inspection remit of her majesty’s inspectorate of court administration and the inspection work of the Adult learning inspectorate. The organization’s full title has changed to the office for standard in education, children services and skills but it will continue to be known as Ofsted.
